Vincent Enyeama was born to Mr and Mrs Phillip Enyeama in Urua Inyang, Ika LGA, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria; on the 29th of August 1982.

Vincent Enyeama’s professional career started in 1999 where he played for the indomitable Ibom Stars, making a total of 56 appearances for the team before moving to Enyimba football club where he spent three years, making a total of 100 appearances for the Nigeria Premier League side; scoring a total of 10 scoring ten(10) goals for the club as a goalkeeper, very impressive for a goalkeeper.
